A hands-on baking day in the Hackney Bread Kitchen micro-bakery, covering all the stages of making and baking sourdough bread, we’ll bake three different kinds of sourdough, learn about maintaining your sourdough starter, kneading and shaping techniques, and explore the wonder that is long-fermented breads.
Participants are limited to three people so lots of chances for questions and help.
This day long course includes lunch and your own bread-making kit to take home.
N.B. You will be taking an unbaked loaf home with you that will need to be refrigerated and baked the next day.
